Freediving in Iceland With Kiki Bosch

Wow! This looks like paradise! And I’m not just saying that because a hot girl is swimming in front of the camera. Just look at the visuals, it is absolutely amazing! Iceland is a fairy tale country and everybody should visit it at least once in their lifetime. This particular place is called Thingvellir National Park and it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The water temperature is only 2 degrees Celsius above zero and flows in a small crack in North America and Eurasia. First the water from the Langjökull Glacier melts, then travels to an ancient lava field through more than 50 kilometers of volcanic rock. This takes about a 100 years to happen. Kiki Bosch is the freediver leading us on this extraordinary journey. And don’t judge her by her frail looks, she has been preparing her body for this temperature for years. She says anybody can do it, but first you have to prepare your body for it. We think she’s a mermaid, although she won’t admit it herself.
