Millionaire Goes Homeless To Find Someone To Take To The Grammy’s

This trip and this experience completely changed my life and my perception of both the homeless as well as us as a society. Don’t get me wrong, I know there are some kind hearted and genuine people out there in the world but it is full of mostly people who have absolutely NO TIME or NO DESIRE to give the one priceless thing we can offer; love/compassion. Instead, we have replaced that with ignorance, hatred, judgement, resentment, bitterness, and although there are some really bad apples on the street that doesn’t mean that everyone else is. My hope is that one day this changes and it doesn’t continue to get worse… Don’t ever judge a book by its outer cover…

On the flip side to that as our plane pulled back into Salt Lake City the lady sitting across the aisle from me looked at me and said in a shocked and disgusted manner, “they’re letting the COACH PEOPLE off before us” (This was a larger international plane so the main cabin door was between first class and comfort seating. Moral of the story, it seems we are going two steps backwards for every one forward. You are no better than the person next to you regardless of age, rank, race, ethnicity, religious preference, sexual preference, “class” or any other characteristic. Grow up people!
