Animals are so instinctive, they recognise and remember the character of every single human they meet. We will never know 100% what a chimp nor any other animal is thinking but it’s so obvious they remember feeling safe, soothed, loved or affection they received. It’s a huge privilege to watch a wild animal run and jump into the arms of a human they accept as family.
