This performance is so naked,and real- God bless the unnamed saint who captured it. Proof (as if any were needed) that to his last, Elvis Presley could transcend all the accidents of circumstance that can beset us on this path of life and, with his truly cosmic talent, give us a glimpse of ”the great unknown” and leave us renewed. That service alone, makes him ‘The King’ in my estimation (for some 5 decades now!). He was that rarest of historical figures- a great man who was also a good man.
