Elvis Presley Sings Unusual Song With A Wooden Puppet In ‘GI Blues’

Elvis Presley dubbed the “King of Rock n Roll” was also an excellent actor as well as a singer.Hollywood eagerly signed him up to play roles in movies, and he appeared in 31 movies between 1956 and 1969.Producers would have been crazy not to take advantage of Elvis’s singing abilities. Most of his roles involved singing, but he also played dramatic and comedic roles, and showed quite a bit of talent.

In the film,, “G.I. Blues,” first released in 1960, contained an adorable scene where Elvis acted and sang with a wooden puppet as his co-star. “Wooden Heart” is an adaptation of a simple German folk tune. Elvis even sings a few lines of the song in its original German dialect.
