Consumer Reports put the performance version of Tesla’s all-electric Model S through its testing and found that it’s fast and super-efficient, proving that car companies don’t have to sacrifice to achieve superior fuel economy.
The car was given ‘excellent’ marks for everything related to driving including acceleration, transmission, handling and braking. Safety marks were also all excellent with only the driving position, rear seat comfort and controls getting ‘very good’, ‘good’ and ‘fair’ grades.
[quads id=”1″]It may well be the most perfect car ever made but it isn’t cheap. It costs $127,820 and is much louder than a normal Model S. Also, the materials used in the interior aren’t of as high quality as other cars in that price bracket.
