Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton were friends for a long time already. THey sang many duets together such as the “Islands in the Stream” from 1983.
They paired up recently to sing another song together : “You Can’t Make Old Friends”.
“I think we’re soul partners,” Kenny says about his friendship with Dolly. “We can not see each other for six months, and we walk in a room and it’s like we’re just…back together again. We are old friends.”
This is what real friendship is about – no matter the distance or time spent apart, you are still friends.
