A Minnesota fourth grader stole the talent show with his rendition of John Lennon’s “Imagine.”
“So I won’t address the grading of his performance because art is subjective and everyone has their own things they enjoy. I will let you know that Adam specifically chose to perform that song that day. He had performed an upbeat song at the 4th grade talent show the week before and was all set to perform that in the all school talent show. Then the Texas school shooting happened on the Friday before this performance. He wanted to do this song to try to help the audience think about putting a little good into the world. He wanted them to think about being peaceful with each other. He fully understood the message he was trying to convey and I believe by the response that he did that.”
